When upgrading from Version 4.X to version 5.X you will need to contact Biolytic to have your configuration files updated. You will need to provide us with your original configuration files. We will update them and return them to you so you can use them with your new version 5.X software. Version 5.X includes many additional features such as:

1) Allows the use of multiple characters in a sequence to define a single base position. For example your sequence can look like the following: TACGGCA(Biotin)

2) Allows interface with a LIMS (Lab Management System).

3) Rename reagents to display the name you want to use.

4) Automatically set a number of iterations to use to repeat chemistry steps based on the base characters in the sequence. This is helpful for internal specials that need different chemistry strategy that the other normal bases.
