This is a replacement knob for the lid on the Heated Pressure Chamber. Early units had a plastic knob. The plastic knob is not very durable so it is easy to break. This is a well constructed reliable stainless steel knob that should last a long time. It is highly recommended that some lubricant (that can withstand 100 degrees C) be applied to the threads regularly to keep the threads from wearing out. This Knob Assembly is made from 303 Stainless Steel and is 2.5 inch thick in diameter.
