We developed
this device for performing Side Chain Deprotection of Oligos in
Plates. It is capable of sealing 96 well plates as well as racks
of tubes. We offer the choice of top sealing mats to fit round
top wells or square top wells.
A Pneumatic Cylinder is used to seal the top mat to the top of
the rack of tubes or 96 well plate. This device will work up to
90 ˚C however when used with
Polypropylene plates the maximum recommended temperature is 75
˚C because the polypropylene softens above
this temperature making it very difficult to seal.
