Field Service

We offer On Site Field Service for major products we support. For smaller less expensive items we offer Depot Service. We offer a full line of service plans to meet the needs of different users. We offer Field Service around the world. In some locations we have local distributors that perform the onsite service. In locations where we do not have local distributors, we provide support from our facility in Newark, California USA.

Valve Block Rebuilds

The heart of any fluid control system are the valves. The Applied Biosystem instruments use valve blocks rather then individual valves. These valve blocks are a traditional source of failure that costs a lot to replace. The valve blocks have quite a few parts that do not typically go bad. We rebuild the valve blocks using the good parts and replacing the parts that can wear out such as diaphragms, seals & O-Rings. This can save the customer a considerable amount of money over purchasing new valve blocks. We provide this service from our facility in Newark, California USA.

Vacumn Generators

The Applied Biosystems instruments have traditionally used a vacuum generator and storage system to supply vacuum to their valve blocks for lifting the diaphragms. These vacuum systems are subject to failure if reagent is allowed to get into them. The parts are not designed to stand up to the harsh reagents used in Oligo & Peptide Synthesis.

Replacement Parts

We carry a complete line of spare parts for most Oligo & Peptide Synthesizers as well as DNA and Peptide Sequencers. In addition we have many accessories for use in the Biotechnology Lab as well as some consumables.

Instrument Rebuilds

Rebuild a used instrument and get like new performance. When it comes to Oligo & Peptide Synthesis, the technology and chemistry used to perform synthesis has not changed since it was introduced. Sure some minor modifications have been made like the introduction of new activators, modified monomers and some other minor changes. These things have not had any effect on the hardware needed to perform synthesis. Why pay enormous prices for new instrumentation when you can get your instrument rebuilt for a little more than the cost of a one year service plan?
